LIVE NOW WELL Biblically is a practical Biblical system designed to help people know God through His Word, become increasingly like Christ, live in dependent and joyful obedience, and respond rightly to God. It brings the practical structure of LIVE NOW WELL under the governing authority of Scripture — and introduces the people who built it, without treating either of them as a doctrinal authority.
Scripture is the final authority. The LIVE NOW WELL system provides practical structure. The Companion helps apply it personally. The member carries it into real, responsible, embodied life — in community, under real pastoral and relational care.
Creator of LIVE NOW WELL
Ryan Penny is the creator of LIVE NOW WELL, a practical framework developed through more than twenty-five years of work focused on helping people understand themselves, make sense of life and become better equipped to navigate it well. LIVE NOW WELL Biblically places the practical value of that framework under the authority of Scripture. Ryan and the framework are not presented as doctrinal authorities.
Biblical Counselling & Ministry
Brahm Hattingh has served in Christian ministry since 1991, with a particular focus on care and Biblical counselling. He served for ten years as Pastor for Care and Counselling at Constantia Park Baptist Church in Pretoria, and later served as pastor for counselling at Hillcrest Baptist Church, where he oversaw the establishment of counselling competency and assisted neighbouring churches in developing counselling ministries.
Brahm has attended numerous short-term classes at The Master's Seminary and completed Phase Two of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) certification program in 2025. His particular focus is helping people bring Biblical truth to mental, emotional and spiritual struggles. He and his wife, Antoinette, live in Langebaan on the West Coast of South Africa; they have three married children and three grandchildren.

Scripture alone governs doctrine, morality, worship, salvation, sanctification and faithful living — the framework and the Companion are only useful where they serve that authority.
