The short version
- Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your choices. They are always on.
- Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Allow analytics”.
- Our own statistics (Umami) use no cookies and record no personal profiles.
- We use no advertising cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” is a similar browser feature. We use both only as described below.

Privacy-friendly statistics
We run Umami on our own server to count page views. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and builds no profile of you, so it does not need consent. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, Umami does not count you.
Browser notifications
If you allow browser notifications, your browser stores a notification subscription. That is controlled by your browser’s own permission, not by a cookie. You can turn it off in your account or your browser settings at any time.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.
