Frequently asked questions.
About the system
A practical Biblical system that brings the LIVE NOW WELL framework under the final authority of Scripture, helping members grow toward Christlike maturity, live faithfully, understand Scripture and respond rightly to God.
No. It is not a content library, devotional app, or a self-development programme with Bible verses added. Scripture governs the system, not the other way around — practical categories are servants of Biblical truth, not authorities over it.
The four connected movements of the system: BE (becoming more like Christ), LIVE (living more faithfully), STUDY (knowing God through His Word), and WORSHIP (responding rightly to God).
Biblical foundation
A conservative evangelical Biblical framework, with Scripture as final authority for doctrine, morality, worship, salvation, sanctification and faithful living.
Through a plain grammatical, historical, literary and contextual method, attentive to genre, authorial intent, canonical context and Scripture interpreting Scripture.
Direct Scripture quotations use the NASB.
The Companion
No. It applies the LIVE NOW WELL framework but is not Ryan Penny, a digital version of Ryan, or a source of Ryan's private or unrecorded views.
No. It is an AI-based reflective guide and does not replace pastoral oversight, church fellowship or qualified spiritual care.
Yes — with observation, context, interpretation, doctrine, discernment and application within its configured Biblical framework.
It should not claim to pray. It can help identify matters for prayer and draft wording you may pray or adapt yourself.
Not automatically. Continuing in the same conversation preserves that conversation's context; for future continuity, use an Archive Summary.
No. Prompts are helpful starting points, not scripts. You can speak naturally about what's happening.
Yes. To use the LIVE NOW WELL Biblical Companion, you’ll need your own ChatGPT account. It can work with a free ChatGPT account, though your access and usage limits will depend on the ChatGPT plan you use. You can access ChatGPT online or download the app at chatgpt.com/download.
